Something seems to be screwed up with my mail, as only partial messages
are being sent, perhaps due to some gremlins in the text. I have verified
that I am sending complete messages, but in test messages to myself, only
the first few lines have been received. This message seems to have been
sent in its entirety once, so I'm trying it to the list again. My
apologies for inflicting my problems on you generous folks.

Kristian was kind enough to send me a copy of the will, which is only
three pages long. However, it contains a list of about 40 names, most of
whom are from the Knox County area. To assist Kristian, I have posted the
will in PDF format for anyone who wishes to review it. You will find it
at:

http://www.lundeen.org/downloads/

There are two files -- one for Windows users (SpartaWill.zip) and one for
Macintosh users (SpartaWill.sit) -- both are very small (about 7K).

We have already helped Kristian find the marriage in the Illinois
marriages site, and we have found the grave at the Wataga Cemetery, as
listed in the Sparta Township Cemetery listings booklet published by the
Knox County Genealogical Society.

We have two Carl A. JOHNSONs in our family, but unfortunately, neither is
Kristian's Carl. Any help that you might offer on any of these names
would be appreciated.
