Pat,
Thank you for the transcribed obituaries. My ggggrandmother was Elsie
Alice Bales, and all I have for her is that she died in Elba Twp., Knox Co.
in 1848. Is there a date for this obit? Her father was supposed to be Jacob
Bales, and she married John Allen Thurman in 1812 in Ohio. Perhaps she and
John Thurman divorced and she remarried a Wesley. Trying to see if this is
my Elsie Bales.
