I am looking for general information on the West family in Knox
Co., I have two different books, some family
tree diagrams, etc. which show that Almon Clark married
Letitia Ann Trego and had the 4 daughers, Laura May, Cora, Emma,
and Grace Lavinia. Well, my sister just arrived with some folders
that she had from our mother, and in it was a set of 9 stapeled pages
entitled Notes taken from The Conger Family of America published
in 1973 by Helen Maxine Crowell.

On the last page is described a family named West,

John West, Galesburg, IL
Charles (Charlie) West, Anita, Iowa
Laura West "Aunt laura" m Allie Clark. Had Issue
May Clark - my great grandmother
Cora Clark
Emma Clark
Grace Clark

(These are supposedly the daughters of Almon Clark and Letitia Ann Trego!)

Hannah West m Uzziah Conger. They had many children, one named
Crayton Conger who had a daughter named Alice whom we all called
Cousin Alice! Well, she was a cousin if her sister married Almon
Clark and was the mother of the 4 Clark girls. But that flies in
the face of everything I have documented right now.

If anyone has information regarding relationship between the West's, the
Clark's and the Conger's, please let me know.
