Hi Jan,
Been awhile since I looked at this but the original manuscript is in the
Stoneberg Papers at Knox College Archives. Phillip Stoneberg was the editor
of the 2 vol. Henry Co. history where this appeared. It was published
around 1910. Galesburg Public Library and Knox College would both have
this. Kewanee Public Library has it on the open but non-ciruclating
shelves, or did last time I was in there about a year ago. Rock Island
County Historical should also have it, perhaps Rock Island Public. Can't
recall now where you live but the books were pretty well distributed.
Also, about 99% sure that Illinois State Historical Library in Springfield
would have it. I don't own a copy or would look it up for you.
Hope this helps. If you can't find it I could try emailing as an attachment
a transcript of the manuscript I did a few years ago, complete with typos.
Ha! Was going to rework it for a Knox Co. book but that is a dormant project.
