Hi,
Walter S (Scott) Sherman was the son of Samuel Sherman b. 1799 in Vt. and
Azubah Green b. July 8, 1800 in Braintree, Orange Co. Vt. His parents were
m. Jan 7, 1821 in Moriah, Essex Co. NY. Walter was one of 14 children, and I
have info on all of his siblings and also on his and Adeline Turner Felt's
children.

I am searching for the son of Harry Sherman b. 1865 in Knox Co. and Mary
Campbell, b. 1875 in Perry Co. Illinois. they were married in Monmouth Co.
and
I have one son listed as IRA SHERMAN on 1900 Perry Co. Fed. census, however,
child's recently found birth certificate lists him as EARL LEE SHERMAN-- was
a
delayed birth cert. filled out by his father--at this point I am not sure
which
name I am looking for --Ha!!

I stumbled across info on your Walter in my search for Harry's grandparents
--I
chased
an Augustus Sherman (actual name Oscar Augustus Sherman) who enlisted in
the Civil War in Galesburg and I just received his Civil War file last week.
He is a brother to your Walter. I would be happy to share what info. I have,
and also
if you will contact me privately, I will give you the email for the gentleman
who
shared Augustus/Walter's family with me --he considers himself a "Sherman
Clearing House" and has a VAST amount of Sherman info.
