I have a used copy of a reproduction of the 1878 History of Knox Co. which
is good. I'm not familiar with the Atlas; what does it consist of (how many
pages, etc.)?

<<I have the Higgenson book and it is fine, the pictures are not as nice as
the ones in the original 1886 that I have, but it is not falling apart.
The 1886 needs rebound and shouldn't be used really, I can't make any
copies from it, too fragile.
It is different than the Atlas which I have found very helpful, that you
can get from the Knox county Genealogy Society, if you find someone there,
you can see where their land was and if they were a subscriber, it says
where they were born, it is full of nice clues.
