I'm a descendant of Nicolina Armstrong her father's name was John Armstrong.
There is a Hugh Alexander Armstrong who was his brother and had some of
the children you have mentioned. The Armstrongs and Terpenings married
around this area. They lived in Warren/Knox Counties. So, if you are related
to the Armstrong's in this area this is where they came from. You are welcome
to email me. I have a book that was given to me in the '70s. It has the
early Armstrongs that came here from Ireland. But I've also found out they
may have came from Scotland instead. But I haven't gotten this verified
yet.
