I am trying to prove that two women buried in Hope Cem. are sisters. Maria
L Hudson (wife of Harvey Jerauld) and Elizabeth Hudson (wife of Henry Farris
(Ferris)). Both families are buried in Hope Cemetery. Both ladies married
in Knox Co., Illinois. Both had daughters who joined the DAR and are listed.
Both their husbands came from Herkimer Co., New York in about 1837 to Knox
Co. (both early pioneers of Knox Co., Illinois) so I am thinking the Hudson's
may have came from there also. Anyone researching these families or any
proof they are indeed sisters or any info on all three families would be
greatly appreciated. My Hudson research is my brick wall.
