We are looking for the descendants of John Sisk b.1845. His parents were Maurice and Abby (Lynch) Sisk. John married Fannie Shower on September 13, 1880, in Knox County, Illinois.

Maurice Sisk b. Dec. 4, 1812, in Ardra, Rostellan, Ireland
Bp. 1812, in Aghada (parish)
Married Abby Lynch on Feb. 23, 1841, in Aghada

Abby was b. 1812, in Ballyshane, Inch, Ireland

Mary Flynn was the sister of Daniel Flynn and he married Catherin Norton. Catherin's parents were James & Ann (Dolan) Norton. Her brother James C. Norton married Margaret E. Sisk in 1874, in Galesburg, ILL and they moved to DeWitt, NE, in 1879. That is our conection to the Sisk.

We are looking for Abby Sisk, because there is no record of Sisks in Republic County, Kansas, after the 1880 census. Where did Abby and her family go? Did she go live with a son or daugher? Where did Maurice Sisk end up?

We hoping to find Maurice and Abby Sisk through their children.
