I am searching for the father of Ignacious G. Benson who was born January 16, 1838 in Sangamon county, Illinois and at the time of the 1850 Knox county census was living in Knox county. Ignacious's mother was Elizabeth and his siblings were James, John, Caroline and Jane. Jane was married to Silas Price. any information would be appreciated.
