I also have Smith's in Knox County, Illinois. I am seeking information on John T. Smith born PA or NY 1821 moved to Knox County around 1840-1850. Married possibly twice and had several children. Died in Knoxville, Knox County, Illinois in 1901. Does this make any connection? Thanks.
