Hello list -
I am a new member looking for information about the subject families
who lived in Knoxville in the late 1800s and early 1900s. Matilda and John
W. Lawhead came to Knoxville in about 1875. Their daughters married as
follows:
Annie to John W. Newell; Elmira to Calvin J. Jackson; Lydia to George
E. Baily/Bailey; and Alice to Roland D. Fox.
Any information about them would be appreciated. Also, I was unable
to find an operating cemetery in Knoxville. Is it possible that some of
these family members may be buried in Knoxville in an "old" cemetery? Thanks
for sharing.
