The Knox County Alms House was just across the road from the Knoxville
Cemetery. Most residents were buried there. It is my understanding there
are no individual stones. Just one stone denoting that is where the
residents were buried. The Knoxville Courthouse has a listing of everyone
buried in the cemetery, but I'm not sure if it includes Alms House
residents.

was used by them when an inmate died? An F. G. Blake, widow, age 65, with no
children was there in the 1900 Census. I believe this is Frances Grazilla
(McCoy) Blake and I am trying to find where she might be buried.
