The obit for L.K. Van Gilder listed in Volume I OBITUARIES Knox County
Galesburg, Illinois newspapers 1853 -1897 page 125 says he is the son of
Mr. and Mrs. J. M. VanGilder. In the 1870 census of Knox Twp. Leven(?),
age 12, is listed in the household of John and Elizabeth VanGilder.
