My great-grandfather, Joseph H. Manning, married Florence R. Reeves at the Oneida Methodist Episcopal Church in Knox County on May 1, 1870. I have a copy of the marriage certificate. I have other information which confirms that Mr. Manning was born in Illinois (town unknown) in 1847 of Irish-born parents. His father was Dennis O'Manning (or Manning). I do not know his mother's name. Do anyone have any information on this family?
