Hi Robert,
Here is what I can find for you:
1900 IL Knox Co. Galesburg 6WD Series: T623 Page 40 Roll 313
SQUIRE H. HUMPHREY
Age: 50
Carpenter
(His mother was b. Germany)
Married to: Anna/ Age: 52
Children:
Lulu / Age: 18
Milliner
Emma/ Age: 9
At School
Grandchild:
Robert Asher/ Age: 10 / Father born: England / Mother born: IL
At School
In the 1910 census: Squire Humphrey 59, Anna E. 61 wife, Emaliza age 19
daughter. It is very hard to read but his occupation looks like it
might say reform-----something and the nature of the business is a
newspaper.
In the 1920 census: he is listed again with his wife and his occupation
is a "Carpenter Contractor"
FRANK M. EPPERSON is listed in the 1920 Knox Co. Rio Twp census with
his wife Belzora. He is 74 and she is 70. They have no others in
their household.
In 1910, there is a Frank M. Epperson, 64, listed with daughters, yes
daughters, with the names of Joe, 24 and Theo, 22. It does not list his
wife here. Maybe he was a widower and married Belzora in time for her
to appear in the 1920 with him?? There is a "Roby" or "Roly" Epperson,
age 37, listed in the household above him that may be his son. "Roby"
has children, and among them two males Theodore and Paul ages 15 and 13
respectively. Both Frank M. and "Roby" are farmers.
In 1900, Frank is 54 with wife, Lucinda age 54 and daughters Edna, 20,
Joe, 16, Theo, 13 and a laborer named Joseph Hunter. There is an
Albert Epperson age 35 living next to Frank along with his wife FRANCIS,
34, and son Raymond., 12. Albert and Francis have male children. If
you are interested in this Albert and "Francis Epperson" family I can
give you the details on them too.
Hopefully this will help you out with names of descendants. Let me know
if I can be of further assistance.
