No Jasper/Gasper Seward in my family of them, I'm afraid. I think your Sewards belong to an entirely different line than mine--one that came west from MD/PA>IL>IA, etc. I wasn't able to find Carpelonia and Gasper/Jasper's Knox Co. marriage on the Illinois on-line marriage database, either. Wonder where you found it?
