I don't have any knowledge or connection to this family but the Illinois marriage index does show:

Elizabeth C. Bolding married Nicholas C. Kelley 2-28-1878 in Knox Co, IL.

In 1880 Persifer township, Knox Co, Nicholas & Elizabeth Kelley have one person in the home....George M. Bolding, brother in law, 15 born IL parents born KY.

That may help you figure out what became of her after the divorce. That must be her.
