I'm looking for the family of GEORGE WASHINGTON FOX b. 25 Dec 1839 IRE. It is reported by family that he came to USA with old sibling(s) ... one of which may died enroute or shortly after arriving in Chicago. George was an infant, and it is believed his parents died in Ireland.

George W. FOX may be living with older siblings in the 1850 census. He signed up for the Civil War in Edgar Co, IL; married in 1865 in Piatt Co, IL; migrated to KS in mid 1860's' then to Christian Co, MO by 1880. If anyone can find George W. FOX as a child living in IL, I would most appreciate your assistance.
