Now about WOLFE:
no Ellen, but a Margaret, who was the 8th grade graduate
in 1931 who wrote one of the articles, "The Old Prospect House",
which was located 30 miles southwest of Ottawa and 12 miles
south of LaSalle, in Hope Twp. Margaret was from School Dist. 23,
if that helps you locate her.

PATTERSON:
I'm getting old? Can't remember what I wrote about this name--
and I can't get back out to look--bear with me, please.

Noah PATTERSON: p.53 in article, "The TIFFANY Family" by
Jetta F. Shute, Dist 81
Mrs. TIFFANY"...was appointed postmistress around 1847,
to succeed Mr. SHAPLAND. They moved then about a mile
and one-half farther west, on what is now the Noah PATTERSON
farm." This appears to be in Deer Park.

Junior PATTERSTON, Dist.85, wrote one of the articles, p.64,
"The Old Stone Mill" (Bailey Grove)

Mrs. Elmer B. PATTERSON: p.41 "The Farm Ridge Seminary"
by Edna Dille, Dist. 92
"Among the many students who attended the seminary and who
are now living nearby are the following: Mr RUBY, Mrs. George
CRAWFORD, Lester Louis THOMPSON, Mrs. Elmer B PATTERSON,
Mrs. George FOSTER and a few others."
"This was not a religious school, for Mr. BALDWIN's motto was
that "Science and religion do not mix."

KINER (KINDER request)
"A Local Church" by Irene Enockson, Dist. 157
Fall River--Hickory Point Methodist Church, organized in 1872
"Jerry KINER donated the land on which the church was built."
The church was later sold and moved to a farm.
There were two KINZERs who donated to this booklet
(8th graders in 1931)
Merriam E. KINZER, Dist 188 "The Waltham Presbyterian Church"
and Bernard KINZER who contributed a poster for centennial
celebration and it appears at beginning of booklet.

That's all for now, folks. You can still request, but I'll be
slower responding. Our semester has just begun and I won't have
the same freedom. :(
