Hi

I have begun an index/transcribing project for LaSalle County.

The death record index for 1877-1915. You know, the one that's really hard
to read that you have to have the microfilm to use. I have the letter A
online already. My next step is to double check it all by actually looking
up the records based on my index. The paper version which will be
distributed to any society (as I finish each letter)for only the cost of
copying, will contain death dates (instead of just year) For each letter,
the paper index will have three forms, sorted by Surname, Death Date, and
Soundex Code. If anyone is interested in what I have so far, visit my site:
