This is my first posting to the LaSalle County list. I'm looking for
information on my GALLAGHER ancestors who lived in the county briefly
before moving to Champaign County.

The 1850 Mortality Index for LaSalle County lists a Patrick GALLAGHER, age
40, who died in December of 1850. Does anyone have any information on this
man? My earliest GALLAGHER ancestor was named Patrick, and he was likely
born sometime between 1790 and 1810, so I'm trying to determine if the
Patrick who died in LaSalle County might be the same person.
