I'm new to the list & would appreciate any help as to sources...
My great-grand mother was born either in Peoria or La
Salle..unfortunately,I don't know if that was in the cities of Peoria &
La Salle or the Counties of Peoria & La Salle, so I'm starting here.
Her name was Mary Anne LAMB,born 29 July 1853, father John Lawrence
Lamb,mother Rosabell Collins,both born in Ireland. Her siblings were
Alisha,Jane & Edward.
What I need is the names of Catholic Churches in the area to check for
baptism records..local genealogical societies,clues to find census
information.....ANY & ALL sources you think might be helpful.
