I'm searching for info on John Andrew Barton. He came to U.S. in 1885 with wife Mary Bela?. They had children: John, Conrad, & William. Supposedly John ran a saloon. After he died, Mary married James Wheeler on 6/6/1894.
I'm planning a trip to Streator next week. Can anyone tell me the best place to begin searching? I'm interested in finding naturalization papers on any of the family. Where would these possibly be located?
