buried in Block 35, Row 6:
August Schubert 1879 - 1939
Anna D. 1887 - 1988 (sister?)

buried in Block 42, Row 4:
Zoe V. and William F. Schubert

Now for the little problem, August was born in 1879 (in Kangley)
according to his obituary and tombstone. His obituary also mentions his
mother as being Mrs. Elizabeth Schubert.
But the Illinois Sec. of State site shows a wedding in La Salle County
for Edward Schubert and Eliza Huther on April 27, 1884 in La Salle
County. Edward, Sr.'s obituary mentions a marriage date of April 27,
1884

According to Edward's obituary he was born in the "Province of
Schlesing, Germany".
Elizabeth was born in Wiessenthal, Germany, daughter of George and
Christine Hitter.

But, we all know how accurate obituaries can be.....

I know, I should have made a copy of Edward and Elizabeth's Schubert
obituary. I'll try to get back to the library and do that next Monday.
Maybe, Amelia's, she if she is a daughter. Could Fred ( he lived in
Ottawa) be "Fritz"?
