I know the the name Rainey but not sure why or how I know that name I am
checking with Carolyn Thomas of LaSalle County, she may remember....did not
know the name Blair of Chicago thank you so much I will follow these leads
and let you know what else I find....I don't have a lot on this family yet
what I have so far is Sydney Ann McQuown married to Thomas Conner probably
in Ohio was in Livingston County, Ill. in 1840 and LaSalle by 1850 census I
have 9 children so far who I believe were all Sydney's.....William Conner
(b) @ 1828 and married Maria Rinneyon in 1851, Hugh Conner (b) 1830 and
married Frances Pope in 1850, Stephen Anderson Conner (b) @ 1836 and married
twice Deborah Huntsman, & Mary A. Coleman in 1865, John Newton Conner (b) @
1837 was killed in the Civil War, Rachel E. Connor (b) @ 1839 (named after
Rachel Haldeman who was married to Robert McQuown) George W. Conner (b) @
1841 married Catherine Morgan in 1865 also served in the Civil War, Margaret
Marie Conner (b) @ 1843 she married Rodney H. Dodge in 1863 he was the son
of Moody Dodge (Sydney's 3rd husband) by his first wife, Henry A. Conner (b)
@ 1846 and Robert Conner dates unknown also killed in the Civil War.....I
have some proof on some of the above still searching if anyone can help
please let me know.......
