I assumed in the area where he lived and had his home. I would like your answer to
this question also.

I would like to know more of information you have please.

4 "The information I have is he died while a prisoner in Andersonville prison.
Would like his date of death if anyone has the date.

The source of Andersonville prison is from his (Lewis?) sister, Emmeline (Emmily)
Vermette, born. 19 Oct 1843, Vermit's Point, La Salle County, Illinois, Died: 15 May
1945, Alameda County, California, 101 years young. She had a picture of the brother
that has been lost after her passing.
