Sorry, I could not find a listing in 1883 for Mary McCloskey.
Checked the "C" for Closkey, "Mc" and "G" thinking she might have been
listed under her father's name. This list is from the Streator Free
Press Weekly and Daily. Don't have a list for the other papers.

Although I don't have the full list for 1901, I think James is listed.
Do you have James' obituary? The list mentions that he was buried in
"R. Side". Usually that refers to St. Mary's cemetery.
Were they buried in St. Mary's Cemetery?
Were John Gorman, who died in 1894 at age 55, and Ann, who died in 1898
at 49, the parents of Mary? Or a brother? They are buried in St.
Mary's.
