I would like to like to locate an Obituary and the burial location for
William ALBERTS, my gggrandfather. He and his family resided in Eagle
Township, LaSalle County Illinois. Their farm was on Section 12, Twp 31,
Rge 2. He died on September 1, 1850 according to his probate papers. His
religious affilitation was with the Lutheran Church in Ostfriesland. The
legal notices for his estate appeared in the Ottawa Free Trader, a weekly
newspaper. Can someone tell me if there was a Lutheran Church and Cemetery
near their residence in Eagle Township that would have been in existence in
1850. William's wife's name was Gebke and his children's names were Jacob,
Janna or Johanna, Gebke, Wilmke, Anke or Anna, and Frederick or John.
William's wife later married William BAUMANN or BOWMAN and resided in
Nebraska Township, Livingston County.
