Hi Everyone
Thanks to all of you who took the time to respond to my Hall family
inquiry. Since I posted I also did some investigation through the land
records and found so many Hall names (hundreds in fact and that's just
in IL) that any connection my new friend might have to the Hall sisters
in question would be such a big coincidence that I truly doubt that this
could be a possibility. In light of this I have decided to go about it
a little differently but thank all of you for your input.
I still have a need or want for information about the family though, as
I am also indirectly related and find the time period and history
fascinating.
I found that at the time of the attack my family (Shaver) high-tailed it
to the fort (Fort Johnson I believe - I'm probably remembering that
wrong) for their protection, which I for one am happy they did.
Thanks again for all the help.
Sue (Shaver) Koller

Subject: Hall Sisters/ Indian Creek Masacre
Hi All
I wonder is anyone has the Hall family; I'm looking for their ancestors
beyond William Hall b. 1787.
Are these Halls from England?
I met a new neighbor, from England; who has the Hall name for her maiden
name and thought it would be an interesting coincidence and fun.
Thanks for any help
Sue
