Two Warren's--I don't know
Buried in Riverview is Warren Rockwood, with Co. C. 104th Ill. Inf.
Warren's obit from Oct 16, 1880 reported that he was shot in Colorado.
Was a very large funeral, Masons, GAR and fire department? turned out. It was
such a large gathering that the coffin was taken out into the yard for
viewing. "A small black patch over the right eye served to conceal the place
where the deadly bullet had entered." The funeral was held at Mr. Clark's
house, and the house, grounds and for some distance along the streets were
crowed with people. Apparently, he had problems, because his obit also
states "Generous and kindly-hearted man, and though he had his failings..."

I don't know whose son he is, but according to the obituaries in the paper, the
Warren shot in Colorado is the one buried in Streator.
