Hi -
The Samuel, age 52 and "Sylvania" (Louvena) Kingsbury, age 52 are my g-g-grandparents who had just moved to La Salle Co. from NY. Sarah Kingsbury Rockwood was Samuel's sister. Charles was their younger son, and was my g-grandfather. Further up this same census page is a listing for Myron (killed in CW and buried in Basore-Barnhart Cemetery). Myron was 19 and working on a near-by farm as a laborer. Lucinda and Orin Clark were the Rockwood's daughter and son-in-law. I don't know why William Wicoff was stuck in their family - he was the youngest child of the Methodist minister, also listed on the same page.
Thanks again,
Cindy

Hi,
The 1860 census has Warren, age 22 living with Erasmus and Sarah, and
Charles, age 12, living in Bruce Twp.
Next, is Emily Rockwood, age 20, with Orin Clark, age 22; Lucinda Clark, aged
20; and William Wicoff? aged 3.
There is also a Samuel, age 52 and Sylvania, age 52, KINGSBURY and Charles, age
15. Relatives of Sarah?
Joanie
