Hi Jenan:
I am looking for the grave of Affne Smith who supposedly died Oct. 10, 1871.
However, I have just found, on another site, a reference to Union Grove being
in Putnam Co. So he may be in the adjoining county.

I am also looking for three people, who according to Civil War Pension
records, died at LaSalle, LaSalle Co., ILL.: Alexander Whisner/Whistner/Wishner, no
date of death; Alexander's wife, Nancy, who died Dec. 27, 1878; and Alfred
Coulter/Colter who died Feb. 15, 1870. Alfred died on the Whisner farm and he was
the son of Nancy by her first marriage, Robert Coulter/Colter. Robert died
young in Ohio.
I would appreciate any help or suggestions. Thank you.
