Hi! I realize that most people are out of town or taking time off for
vacation, but in the last couple of weeks I have begun to wonder how
many of us doing genealogical research on ancestors are preparing our
own family histories. Not just writing down the dates, but doing oral
or written histories of our lives...the kind of histories that we so
enjoy reading about our ancestors. Is anyone else out there either
putting together scrapbooks or writing family histories or remembrances
of those who were very close to us--mothers, grandmothers, grandfathers,
etc.? Please let me know. I think it would be very interesting to find
out how many of us think our own life is worth documenting.
