Amanda Jane Baldwin m Isham Gibson II 23 Dec 1868, IL

Amanda Jane Baldwin was born in IN 3 Feb 1847, in Montgomery Co, IN, #6 or #7
of twelve children of William Crooks & Cyrena Dalton Baldwin. The family
moved to IL in 1852, first to Greene and then to Virden, Macoupin Co.

She married Isham Gibson II 23 Dec 1868 in Sangamon Co, IL. Isham, b about
1845, was the seventh of at least nine children of the Rev Isham I and
Elizabeth Gates Gibson. Family legend says that Isham and Amanda had a son,
Charlie.

Amanda died 25 Sept 1870 and is buried with her parents in Virden Cemetery,
Macoupin Co, IL.

What happened to Isham II after Amanda’s death? What happened to Charlie? I
have a considerable amount of information on Amanda’s ancestors, siblings,
their descendants, etc, and would be happy to share.
