My wish would be to spend a day with Barbary HART who is listed in the 1870
census, So. Palmyra age 70 b VA and 1880 census age 80 b VA with Peter
Black, as mother. Is she the same Barbary HART age 59 b VA who was listed
in the 1860 census Agency Twp. Wapello co. IA, living with my gggrandmother
Mariah Jane Powell McMains b 25 Jan 1821 Greene-Macoupin co., married 11 Jul
1844 in Macoupin to Wm. McMains.
Could she be the Barbary Thompson who married John Powell 11 Dec 1819 in
Union co. IL. Who is Mr. Black when and where did they marry and who is Mr.
Hart when and where did they marry.
