I am new to this list and my first time writing. I am trying to find information on the Bartlebaugh family.
Today I am looking for a Silas and Minnie Bartlebaugh. Reading an old newspaper, I found out that Minnie was granted a divorce from Silas in Madison Co in 1916.
Living and researching from the Netherlands can be difficult but not impossible. I would like to try and get a copy of the divorce papers of this couple from the Madison Co. Court house. I would appreciate someone giving me an address to write to or an e-mail address where I could get a copy and what I would have to do.
Also any Bartlebaugh information is appreciated. I am trying to go backward in this family and know there were sisters. Also that Silas used Cyrus as a first name on 1880 census and his death certificate. Think his father could have been a Henry Bartlebaugh who served in the Civil War from an Illinois unit.
