Hi!

I have a few CHANCE's in my line, and wondering if any of them sounded familiar to you. Willing to exchange info.

REUBEN CHANCE born 1805 in Monroe County, IL; died 1880 in Marion County, IL. He married CATHERINE OGLE who died 1875. They had 2 children that I know of: SAMUEL S. CHANCE & ELIZABETH (Lizzie) CHANCE.

SAMUEL S. CHANCE - born 1829 in St. Clair County, IL; died 1915 In Salem, Marion County, IL. Married RUTH ANN METCALF 1853 in Marion County, IL. RUTH was buried in East Lawn Cemetery in Salem, Marion County, IL. They had 3 children: JACOB M., ARTHUR B., & JAMES M. CHANCE.

ELIZABETH (Lizzie) CHANCE - born 1837 in Iowa, died 1925 in St. Louis, MO. She married JOSHUA M. METCALF IN 1878 in Salem, Marion County, IL.
