Here is an outline for Martha Ann Burton Alexander. I think I have also
found her as Ann or Anna. Her husband was a son of Walter Aquilla and
Catherine Jolliff Alexander.

Martha and Walter are buried in Burton/Wisher/Kessner Cemetery in Carrigan
Twp., Marion Co. IL. They married in Clinton Co. and were there in 1850.
After 1850 they were in Marion Co.

Martha's parents were Allen and Susannah Reed Burton. Susannah was widowed
in 1840. In 1848 she married James Jolliff (born abt. 1790) who became a
widower in 1847. I give his approximate date of birth to distinguish him
from lots of other James Jolliffs.
