of Congress, 29 May 1830 Not Serving in Regiment on
Continental Establishment. In his pension application
in 1828, he stated that he was wholly disabled and
enumerated his possessions as 1 horse, 1 saddle,
bridle, and saddle bags.

Samuel Youngs company, Col. Doughertys regiment; in
1781 for 3 months in Capt. James Montgomerys company,
Col. William Campbells regiment, VA troops; and again
in 1782 for 3 months with the same officers.
Pension: S32621 (PA:VA); Pension Census, Marion Co.,
IL, 1 June 1840, age 80, residing with Matthew Young,
head of family.
Marker: A marker was placed by Prairie State Chapter
