I am searching for info on William and Marion ?? GRAVES. I have no info on
them other than that they are buried on their farm 1 mile No. of Caledonia,
Putnam Co. No children are known except Lovina/Louina Thankful GRAVES b. 3
Jun 1810 d. 2 Jan 1846, buried with parents. She married John SHIPLEY Dec
1836. Children of the union were: David b. 21 Oct 1837 Putnam Co. IL; James
(my gr-grandfather) b. 27 Oct 1839, Marshall Co., IL; Stephen b. 26 Oct
1841 d. 8 Apr 1865, buried Caledonia; Mary Jane b. 10 Sep 1843, d. 10 Aug
1845, buried Caledonia; Lidda Ann, b 3 Sep 1845 d. 20 May 1847, buried
Caledonia. John SHIPLEY remarried 18 Feb 1849 to Eliza A. MINGUS. Their
children were: Lovina Thankful, b. Feb 1850, d. 24 Sep 1853; Charles, b. 28
Jul 1852; W.W., b. 1 Dec 1855, d. Jul 1870. Any information received will
be very much appreciated. I would expecially like to know where my family
cemetery is. Thanks.
