Nunday or Nunda is the old railroad station and old downtown surrounding the
tracks at the current Crystal Lake Train Station. It was originally known as
Dearborn and later as North Crystal Lake. It existed as a village between
1855 to 1908. The original downtown of Crystal Lake centered at Route 14
(Northwest Hwy/Virginia Street) and the water tower in front of St. Thomas
and 1st Congregational churches.
