Subject: Migration from VA to IL in Late 1800s
Date: Thu, 29 Mar 2001 13:15:15 -0900
I am wondering if there are any people out there who have ancestors who
might have migrated from VA to IL sometime between 1865 (end of the war) and
around 1890s?
I have an ancestor who did just this, but I can't figure out why he did it
all by his self. There must have been others who were doing it at the same
time that he went along with. Seems like a long lonely journey to take on
your own.
