Seek Obituary for Elizabeth (Winney) Moak, 1826-July 3, 1902; She is buried in Viola Cemetery, Mercer Co., IL. Elizabeth was born as Elizabeth Winney in New York in 1826.

She might be partly Native American.

In the Mercer County Census of 1900, she was living with her son-in-law and his family:

Greene twp., Viola Village, Mercer Co., Illinois

William Jones age March 1835; b. NY parents born NY & NY; occup.: livery man

Nettie, b. May 1857, Illinois; parents b. NY & NY

Elizabeth Moak, mother-in-law b. Oct. 1825; parents b. NY & NY

Minnie, daughter, b. Aug. 1884, Illinois; parents b. New York & Illinois
