Thanks Phyllis for your message. Township and range sounds like the answer
to TINR10W. I bet that the farm was so close to the St. Clair/Monroe line
that the St. Clair enumerator crossed over without realizing his error.

Re their marriage and respective deaths, I have tried Missouri, and
Illinois records of marriages and deaths, the St. Clair and Monroe County
clerks (but not Randolph), and have gone through microfilms of Monroe Co.
deeds, marriages, and probates; and cemetery listings for St. Clair and
Monroe.

Thanks for the tip about Randolph Co. I'll certainly give it a try for
their marriage; but dates and places of death remain a mystery.
