To all who have been inquiring:
The text portion of the book is now available on CD from the Monroe Co.
Historical Society. Cost: $35 + 3 s&h = $38. The CD is in Adobe Acrobat
PDF format and can be read on any computer with the Adobe Reader. This reader
can be downloaded from the internet by visiting their web site:
www.adobe.com.

The pictures, most of which are not labelled, will be added soon. When I
scan the pictures, 1-2 pictures fill a complete 3X5 "floppy", taking up an
immense amount of space. We are now looking to purchase or borrow a DVD
camera, take pictures of the pictures and file them directly to the floppy.
Each floppy will hold an amazing 36 DVD pictures, compared to 1 or 2 scanned
images.

The CD book with pictures added will be $50 + 3 s&h = $53.00 total.

It's wonderful to be able to search for a surname or a location and not have
to deal with the paper index.
