Hi Mary,
There was a Tom Hicks, who lived on a farm in S Fillmore Twp. To my
knowledge he never married, but during the '30s, he had two nephews living
with him. One was Clair Cecil Hicks, and his brother, whose name I do not
recall any more. I don't know when he died, but I think it occurred after
I left that area before WW 2; most probably during or immediately after the
war.. I know nothing more of his history. The nephews would be in their
very late 70s or their early 80s at present.

There were some Coles who lived in Hillsboro years ago, one of whom I
believe was named Kingsbury. I served in the Air Force with a grandson of
his, William Kingsbury Cole, who at last report was living near Charleston
SC. There is a younger Cole family at present in Coffeen, but I have no
idea if they are of the same branch.

Bob McCollum.
