Juli,
I don't recall a church in section 18. There was a school. It was
called Root school and is no longer in its original location. It was moved
a mile north and now serves as a storage shed.
There is a cemetery not too far away that is called Rankin Presbyterian
Cemetery, for which I can't find evidence of a church. There must have been
one somewhere in the area. For a list of cemeteries and tombstones in
