Tim,
I have some information on Henry Hill's line. Henry's father and mother were
Henry Hill (Sr.) and Mary Prater, married 1-23-1821 in Bond Co.
Children:
1) Chloe b. Nov 6, 1821
2) Priscilla b. March 27, 1823
3) Levi b. July 17, 1825
4) Mary Ann b. Nov 26, 1826
5) Henry (Jr.) b. Apr 16, 1828, m. Drucilla Whitten
6) Elizabeth b. Apr 6, 1831
7) Salethey b. Jan 27, 1832
8) Sally b. Dec 18, 1834
9) John b. Jan 26, 1836
10) Peter
11) Asa b. Apr 16, 1842
Mary Prater Hill died the day the Asa was born. They lived on a farm near
Fillmore variously known as Hill/Whitten/Cress farm. Henry and Mary are
supposedly buried in unmarked graves on this farm. There is also a cemetery
on this farm, called Daniel Cress Cemetery, with several Hill, Whitten and
Cress's buried in it.
I am related to Henry Hill (Sr.) through the daughter Chloe, the line being:
Henry Hill (Sr) m. Mary Prater
Chloe Hill m. Alvin Sanders
Mary Jane Sanders m. Daniel Cress
Martin Cress m. Virginia Hurd
Virgil Cress m. Julia Hill
Peter Cress
If you would like to exchange further information about this line, please
