Thanks to every one who has responded to my Alien Abduction plea for help.

I have received several good tips and places to look. For an update:

William N. Finley(Finly) is on the 1880 Cherokee County, Kansas Census records.
He has a new wife named Fada A.
According to my mothers records (which have not proved to be always be correct) he died in 1882. I have not been able to find a death record on him in Kansas. Fada remarried in 1883 in Cherokee County, Kansas and had his children with her.
What was Fada's maiden name and where did her marriage to Finley take place and when? When and where did Sarildia (?) die? I speculate Missouri, but cannot find a record of her death there. Could they have lived across the border in Illinois at the time of Sarildia's (?) death?
My gmother's name was supposed to be Ara Adna (aka Addie). Have yet to prove it. Cannot find her birth record in Missouri either.

Thanks to all of you that have replied to my plea for help. It has been four years and still many unanswered questions. Please do not stop sending the ideas and information. Thanks again for all your input.
